Removable Motor Cable (New for 2025)

With three simple screws, the motor plug can be removed, allowing the rider to change their cable length and, therefore, the motor mounting position, depending on the use case. This means you can easily change motor height through simple removal and installation of different cable lengths! Cables are available in a length of 20cm (8"), or 60cm (23.5”).

V2 Universal Motor Pod Mast Adaptor (new)

The Universal Motor Pod is an important part of the Foil Drive setup and it must be used with Foil Drive Mast Adaptors. Every kit for 2025 comes with the universal motor pod mast adaptor, so whatever mast you ride, Foil Drive can mount onto your mast. The outer sleeves are universal and can easily adapt from mast to mast by simply interchanging the internal universal mast adaptor.

The combination of the Universal Motor Pod and the is a v2 refinement of the original one piece motor pods that they started with. These outer sections are super strong injection moulded poly-carbonate fiberglass reinforced.

Every Universal Motor Pod comes with a common rear section that your motor mounts to via the Motor Puck and 2x Nose cones. There is one short nose and one long nose cone to accommodate the inner universal mast adaptor. You simply need to use the correct length nose cone for your particular mast. These are very obviously different lengths, so its not too hard to get wrong!

3 Blade Prop - Optional

It is specifically designed for riders who require more low-end torque, whether this is due to using a low volume board, a smaller or higher aspect foil than normal, or being a heavier rider.
We do not recommend using the Three Blade Propeller Hub for prolonged e-foiling at full throttle as this will drain your battery much quicker and could cause the electronics to go into thermal overload protection. The three blade propellers will draw more watts / power than the two blade prop that can " unload " at full throttle when on foil. Do NOT use three blade prop above 90% throttle continuously when e-foiling. You must let the ESC in the box cool in the water from time to time
